Privacy for the app and App Clip

This notice covers the Azulejos app and its App Clip. The controller for the processing described here is:

Azulejos

Game progress, settings and collection progress are stored on your device. You do not need a separate Azulejos account to play.

To keep features consistent on your device, the app stores a random identifier and the selected feature variant. These details and related usage data stay on your device and are not sent to us.

App Clip

The App Clip stores demo progress, choices and invitation details locally. These may include a campaign, feature variant and Friends Pass code. The full app can read these details from shared storage on your device so you can continue there. They are not sent to our own server for this.

Apple StoreKit · Friends Pass

Purchases and purchase restoration use Apple’s StoreKit. The app checks transaction information provided by Apple to unlock purchased content. We do not receive your full payment details, such as your credit card number.

Apple’s own privacy notices also apply to its purchase processing.

Local progress and settings remain until the respective app data is deleted; backups may persist separately. If you email us, we process your sender details and message to handle the request. We retain them only as needed for that request, legal obligations or legal claims.

Emails sent to support@getazulejos.com are forwarded through Cloudflare Email Routing to a Gmail mailbox. Cloudflare and Google process the message and technical delivery information under their respective privacy policies.

Privacy

Providing the game and checking purchased content serves contract performance (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR). Support relies on that basis or our legitimate interest in handling enquiries (point (f)), depending on the request. Statutory retention relies on point (c).

Subject to applicable conditions, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability and object to processing, and withdraw consent. Contact support@getazulejos.com. You may complain to a supervisory authority, including the Bavarian State Office for Data Protection Supervision or the authority where you live or work.
